ROUND ROBIN CHALLENGE

Now to explain why one of my macro photos is here instead of on my macro page . The Round Robin Photo challenge for Wednesday January 24th is macro. Since these are my favourite type of pics, of course I will be entering. The challenge is to take 4 macro photos and combine them into 1 with a size of 400 x 400 pixels. Steven from sometimes offers some handy hints on taking macro shots and he also has some great photos as well.

NOT Pelicans- but they do keep company with them.

Went back to the pelicans today so expect even more photos of pelicans.

Took the little dog with me and enjoyed a bit of a walk around as well as taking far tooo many photos.

There are two areas that have the posts that they sit on. Now I need a bigger lens as this area is not as close to shore as the other.

The first time I went past this spot there were 5 pelicans, but on New Years day there were only two.

This is the view looking away from where they were perched. The water was very green were the sky was not reflected on it.
