SUMMER-EXMOUTH
Went to Exmouth in August 2005. It was a lovely warm weekend and lots of people were out and about, walking, participating in water sports and flying kites. The dark patch is a sand (read mud) bar and there are people there folding up an orange dingy. As I did not have my zoom lense with me they can only be seen in the photo as a dark blob.

Grevillea
I planted this grevillea just before going away for 9 months and was surprised by how well it did without the usual tlc that is usually given to the plants for the first few months after planting. It has lovely fine soft leaves and the flowers are quite unusual. The name tag that was on it had crumbled away so I have no idea of it's name.

HEALTHY-PLANT
I took this photo this afternoon, because we have been experiencing drought conditions for some time. On Monday most shires introduced level 3 water restrictions in south east Queensland, which means we must water the garden with buckets only. Since Monday it has been raining, while not heavy enough to fill the dams it has provided the plants with a healthy watering. It reminds us that we all need water to survive.

Portobella rd-early morning. I saw this couple trying to park and after multiple attempts, she got out to direct him into the spot.
