For me, it was just so amazing seeing so much snow. It had been snowing most of the night (looked out the window at 1am) and I couldn't believe my eyes. Couldn't wait for daylight to come to get out and about, then spent all day snapping photos. It was just such a thrill and so awesome for someone from Australia, who had barely saw snow before.
